Sea Smoke 'Ten' Pinot Noir
At Sea Smoke, we produce Pinot Noir grown exclusively on the south-facing hillsides of the estate vineyards. On summer evenings, the Santa Ynez River canyon funnels a cool maritime fog layer (sea 'smoke') across the hillsides, slowing the ripening process and providing the extended maturation period essential to the development of top-quality Pinot Noir.

TASTING NOTESA brooding and intense wine. The aromas begin with notes of dried flowers and blueberries, then a myriad of spices, cacao and a hint of lavender. Firm, mature tannins, evidence of Ten's ageability are followed by a long, velvety finish.
FOOD PAIRINGPairs very well with veal, lamb chops, herb-roasted chicken or mushroom sauces.
