Radio Coteau 'Lemorel' Zinfandel
In the summer of 2012, Radio-Coteau acquired an historic 42 acre Estate vineyard and ranch located on a ridgetop above the town of Occidental in Somona County. Employing an holistic farming platform that envisions the farm as a self-sustaining organism where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Going beyond the vine, Radio Coteau embraces a diverse agrarian platform, utilizing both organic and biodynamic farming practices to build the health of the soil and the surrounding ecosystem.

TASTING NOTESDecidedly fruit-driven, with refined earth and harmonic acidity rounding in to a dynamic expression of cool-climate Zinfandel. Ripe boysenberry, black plum and strawberry compote lead the intense fruit aromas, followed by a whisper of cinnamon and vanilla bean. Full-bodied, with polished tannin and refreshing acidity.
FOOD PAIRINGZinfandel pairs with grilled meats galore, beef kababs, grilled Asian beef, roast beef, beef stroganoff, steaks, barbecue and anything with a sweet barbecue sauce or spice component.
