One of the heralded producers in the region of Langhe, today a UNESCO World Heritage site. The grapes are from Nebbiolo which produces the king of wines, Barolo. Oddero boasts a history that dates back to the 18th century, the people who work in the vineyards follow two centuries of winemaking tradition to craft these exceptional wines.
TASTING NOTESUnmistakeable bouquet, very pleasant, intense yet ethereal, very persistent, at times spiced, with aromas of truffles, liquorice and dried flowers. Dry taste, with important, full tannins.
FOOD PAIRINGBarolo is wonderful with anything truffled, game birds such as quail, goose, pheasant or duck, as well as pork chops or any other fatty meats/cheeses.
