Chateau de Sau Rivesaltes Rancio is a traditionally made fortified wine produced from old-vine Grenache Gris. After fermentation is stopped by fortification, the wine is aged oxidatively in old oak barrels for many years, concentrating flavours and developing the distinctive nutty rancio character.

    Amber in colour, this Rivesaltes Rancio shows aromas of dried fruit, nuts, and caramel. The palate is rich and smooth with notes of raisins, toffee, and orange peel, balanced by fresh acidity and a long, nutty finish.
