Agricola Punica 'Barrua'
Situated in the south west of Sardinia, the award-winning Agricola Punica cellar is a joint venture between Sebastiano Rosa, celebrated oenologist and winemaker at Sassicaia and legendary Tuscan wine consultant Giacomo Tachis. Made exclusively from vines grown on the Barrua Estate, from an exciting blend of 85% Carignano, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot, this wine has lovely complexity and depth.
TASTING NOTESBarrua's aromas are deep with exotic notes of black cherry, wild strawberry and dried herbs. The palate is pure with layers of raspberry and black cherry, with liquorice and black pepper.
