Chateau Leoville-Barton is a vineyard in the Saint-Julien appellation of Bordeaux and is also the name of the red wine produced by this property. The wine produced here is one of fifteen second-growths in the original Bordeaux Classifications of 1855. Unlike many of its peers, Leoville-Barton has no chateau building; the wines being made off property, highly rare for the great wines of the region.

TASTING NOTESIntense purple with a bright nose of black fruit, graphite and toast. On the palate, the attack is frank and the tannins percise, while remarkably delicate. The wine contains a beautiful tension and freshness.
FOOD PAIRINGPair Leoville-Barton with grilled and braised meats, roast chicken, duck, lamb, beef, pork and veal. Moreover, Leoville-Barton wines are great with Asian dishes, pasta, mushrooms and cheese.
