Cune Imperial Rioja Gran Reserva
In the best and oldest vineyards grapes are manually harvested in boxes and an exhaustive selection in the field and in the winery, obtaining grapes of great quality. Once in the winery the grapes are macerated in cold for an improvement of the alcoholic fermentation, which will be carried out in French oak vats. Then there is a 2 year ageing in French and American oak barrels, ending the process with a bottle ageing in their century-old cellars until it goes to market.
TASTING NOTESOn the nose there is a perfect balance where fruit of the forest and licorice stand out along aromas of pine, cigar leaf and sweet spice. The palate is marked by soft tannin followed by a long, elegant finish.
FOOD PAIRINGMain courses, all kinds of meats, stews and desserts with couveture chocolate. Ideal as an after dinner drink.
